I found this exhaust out of necessity. I live in a condo community and had gotten a few anonymous complaints about my (at the time) current set being too loud, especially cold starts in the morning(0430) before work. I was waking people up with my DC Sport exhaust. Now, all of my problems are gone and I couldn’t be happier. With the valves closed, even with the turbo upgraded and aftermarket front and down pipes, it sounds basically stock. Almost zero exhaust noise. With the valves open, it’s got a very mid range raspy sound, and burble when letting off the gas. And I’m sure it’ll sound better and better as I continue to dial in my tune after the fk8 turbo upgrade.
Long story short, this is the exhaust I should’ve gone with from the beginning. At the press of a button, from the vehicle just sitting there idling, or while driving on the highway, you can just slip into sleeper mode or race car mode!

Let’s start here. From the stock exhaust to this was a major upgrade. Thank you hrs I appreciate your hard work and efforts put into this piece of art. Now let’s talk about the exhaust the stainless steel used to make this exhaust system flawless, the tips flawless, the sound incredible . Now let’s get to the good part. So it came with a remote to open an close the valves. When the valves are closed it’s complete silence but once you press that button to open that thing up boy oh boy you get what you paid for. Definitely worth the money 10/10 I highly recommend.

I absolutely love this exhaust. It sounds amazing. It was super easy to install and I did it in my driveway by myself. Didn’t even make myself bleed once. It sounds so much better than before and you can really tell the car is breathing much better now. I think for the price of the exhaust, it’s a steal. I’m happy I made the decision to go with the hirev. I would do it over again and again if I had to.

I installed this on my 18 Touring 2.0T. The exhaust itself wasn’t overly difficult to install. It took me maybe 3-4 hours to remove the old exhaust, place this one, and lazily run the wiring for the valves. If you’re replacing down pipe or front pipe back then it will take you substantially longer. I replaced the Downpipe and front pipe the week before and they were rather difficult due to rust and access. The connection of front pipe to exhaust back was the most difficult to remove. It ended up requiring penetrating oil, torch, and an air impact. Anyway, exhaust went on easily and fit nearly perfect. I still need to do some fine adjustments to avoid rubbing and even out the tips but was very happy with the fitment. I found holes in the trunk just about the actuators of the exhaust where you can run the wiring for the valves. You’ll have a wire from each muffler that run to a box and then a wire from the box to cigarette lighter. On to the important part, the car sounds amazing. The start up is loud with valves closed but is rather quiet while driving. The start up and driving is rather loud with open but I love the sound. It has a nice deep throaty almost diesel sound to it at low end. It does get very loud with cackling under hard acceleration. I can get some decel popping that sounds nice but haven’t found the right combo of gears and rpm. The button that switches being quiet and loud is a little finicky but it could be operator error or location of the receiver box. I couldn’t tell you on any extra power. I’m sure it gains some but I can’t tell with few things I’ve done to my car. So far Ktuner stg 2, PRL HVI, precision works 70a front and rear mounts, PLM down and front pipes, and now the hirev active valve exhaust. Love these 2.0 accords!

Amazing fit no issues and sounds so good when installed on a 2.0 would recommend for the price

Mechanic said it was a PERFECT FIT! Sounds amazing, really goes into mute mode when u press the button lol.

21 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T
The exhaust I received was damaged. The mufflers were dented up on both sides of them. I brought the shipping insurance but didn’t get to send it because I was hospitalized. Sent a message and got no response. So just installed the exhaust. Works fine but unhappy about how it was damaged and no answer. Spent about $1900.00 dollars for damage product and shipping insurance.
