3 driver side failures in 2 years - UPDATED

Just had my 3rd brake light failure in my 2 years of owning these lights. I assume they are on sale because they are being discontinued. I would not recommend purchasing this product after this reoccurring issue.

Driver side failure September 2022 - Warranty replacement

August 2024 - Driver side failure

The average life of the 3 brake lights I've went through was like 8 months.

If your product is going to stop working this quickly, is it not a product for me.

Replacing brake lights will not be going into my annual maintenance budget.

Replaced bad ones 3yr old

Love the lights but I had to buy these as replacements for ones I bought 3 years ago that went bad. Other pair had one brake light go out and the other side had reverse go out. Thought they would last longer for $300 lights

However, with our brand, we often extend the warranty period by 1-2 months as a courtesy. In your case, it appears that the lights were purchased 3 years ago, and the warranty has expired by 2 years. Some of the LEDs did not work. Had to get another one shipped.

Great product!!

Fit and finish is top notch. Something to consider is the black/red/black version may not be legal in the state you live in. Some states are looking for that red reflective finish all the time. Not just when the running lights are on. I solved this problem by adding a thin piece of DOT approved red reflective tape around the bottom edge. At some point I may trace down the daytime running light wiring and power the red led bars all the time.

2020 Tundra tail lights-Great quality and responsive

You pay for what you get. The quality was surprising to see when the last couple years have been disappointing with most businesses. Quality and Service provided by others is not what it should be but not from HRS. Thanks for maintaining expectations! I would have liked to have them sooner.

Love them so far

I bought the blacked out ones and just got them a few days ago plug and play on my 2020 not a single issue yet and love the look these are the most unique taillights for the tundra and best looking in my opinion

a bit of constructive criticism though the fit could be a little better they dont fill the entire hole they have a bit more of a gap at the top on the drivers side than the passengers

Great product looks good. But the driver side taillight was missing the mounting clips that came with it the passenger side had them but was missing the drivers side

Yes and No

The operation and looks of the product are great. The fitment however leaves me unsatisfied that the housing doesn’t fill the area completely. I have a gap at the top that I can see the holes stamped into the bed behind taillight.

Great customer support!

Ordered my 1st set of taillights about 3&1/2 years ago. Had left side brake light go out. Called to ask about serving lights or a part number for bulb. Highly recommend no taking light apart. Was willing to break a set of lights apart to just sell me the left. At an unbelievable price! I ended up buying a new set and now have a right spare. The were a great help!
