2018-22 Honda Accord Rear Diffuser By AKASAKA

Looks amazing, and the install was pretty straightforward. I would recommend having an extra set of hands to make it easier, as well as a large work table since you’ll need to remove the bumper to take off the old exhaust tips and install the new ones. The new tips also require a lot of force and some finesse to fit properly with the bumper.

Unfortunately, the kit only came with one pair of bolts to connect the new tips to the bumper, so I had to make a trip to my local parts store to pick up more, which was annoying. The install video I watched (linked below) showed the guy having the exact same problem — such a small detail, but easy for the manufacturer to overlook.

This isn’t the best video, but it was genuinely the only one I could find, as Hirevsports hasn’t released an official install video yet.

Also, be prepared to screw into your bumper to properly secure the diffuser and side aprons — otherwise, they’ll likely fly off during spirited driving or after a storm.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this kit. It completely transforms the rear of the car and looks incredible — in my opinion, even better than Yofer.

Hard to make it fit had to do some adjustments but great product

Everything came undamaged thankfully, but the box everything came in looked like it was ran over multiple times and had holes that were patched with packing tape. Product is still as descibed though.

Great diffuser installation took a little while only because I got it proffesionally done. It adds a whole different look to the set up I love it thanks Akasaka and hired sports

This piece really looks good on the 10th Gen Accord.
4 out of 5 stars because it's not a perfect fit and the 3m tape doesn't do the job.
I ended up drilling a few holes in bumper to secure it with bolts. It fits much better with bolts and screws. I would avoid using 3m tape in my opinion.

Customer service is amazing, I watched old videos of connecting the 3rd brake light through the connections in the trunk, but they notified me to remove the tail light. It looks beautiful, I get compliments on it very often, however, there are gaps on the upper corners from the tape not holding well. I’ve attempted to add more tape and pull the diffuser closer and screw it into the bumper tighter, but it still leaves a noticeable gap if you look at it closely.

With a few minor adjustments this diffuser is absolutely perfect. I have received a lot of compliments on it along with the V3 Lights and LED deflectors. These modifications certainly gives the Accord an outstanding look from the outside which I am enjoying a lot every time I walk up to the car. Its stands out quite a bit. Thank You HIREV Sport. People think that I had someone install all these modifications but when I tell them that I installed all the modifications they are shocked. Its not hard to install at all. Thank you

I received my diffuser in a timely manner! Install took no more then 30 min- 40 mins, only down side is I wasn’t able to order in my paint code(radiant red metallic). Besides that I really enjoy the way this looks on my vehicle and definitely would buy aging !!

I don't care how much 3M tape you use this will not work without utilizing some black screws that are same gloss. I had to hide the screws on both end corners you can't tell they are there. If you don't care about screwing into the bumper this is not a problem but if you do this is not the diffuser for you. Great idea application not so great.

Finally installed the diffuser I love it but I think I am going to lower the car because this diffuser sits kind of high in the back. However, this was a good investment. HIREV thank you.

Well, I haven't quite installed the diffuser yet however I have been taking my time to make sure there unexpected issues with the installation. Overall, it looks good, and I love it. HIREV did it again very timely delivery. Great condition upon arrival. I think this will take care of the issue of the ABS plastic melting. The kit comes short two bolts that is minor any hardware store will do. Side aprons is a must from the rear view it gives it a more sport look to go along with the side skirts and front spoiler. Now if HIREV can only get the ambient interior lights in that will complete the modifications to my Honda Accord Sport 2020.

The diffuser looks great on the car and gives it a great appearance, everything fits very well on my bumper and the correct connector for my accord 2.0t

Everything is nice

The diffuser looks great and seems great quality… only problem is it doesn’t come with the correct plug for the U.S. market accords

I ordered the diffuser a couple weeks ago. When I received the order , I never got a 3rd brake light . Sent multiple emails but still no response . Bad Experience.

Installed pretty easily, perfect fitment can be hard to obtain, especially the two plastic fender pieces on the left and right, highly recommend a heat gun and your own 3M double-sided tape, I also used bolts/screws to secure it

Extremely easy install and great looking and feeling materials. Plastic diffuser and metal exhaust tips. Bolted the diffuser to the bumper as only double sided tape was used in the original instructions. Just securing it for peace of mind. Otherwise amazing product!! Highly recommend!! Did not install the additional side aprons from a personal preference point.

I am very satisfied with this purchase! The item was packaged professionally and arrived undamaged and with all installation items accounted for. The installation itself was an easy DIY after watching the YouTube video. I’m loving the aggressive look this item gives to my car!

Love the quality and the install was easy. Only issue I had was not the diffuser but I have a DC Sports exhaust and it didn't work with the manufactured holes for the faux tips so had to trim to make work.

I would like to know if when I look for the color of the car. what really comes out painted?
What I am looking for painted are the corners of the bumper and the rest is crystal gloss black. I need to clarify that question. Thank you very much
